Coming off a split of the Western New York road trip, the Oswego State Men's Hockey team looked to bounce back at home against the Cortland Red Dragons in the only game of last weekend. Oswego jumped out to an early lead and came away with a strong 4-2 win in this matchup.
Oswego jumped out to a three goal lead in the opening period, all coming at even strength. First at 15:22, Chris Waterstreet scored his 3rd of the year. Then at 19:24, Kenny Neil netted his 10th of the season. Finally at 19:52 Nick Rivait scored his 2nd of the season. Oswego carried that 3-0 lead into the middle period.

Cortland got to within a goal, when at the 16:00 mark of the 3rd period Mike Henrici scored his 6th of the year. Oswego put the game to bed at 18:25 of the 3rd when Brandon Adams scored his 7th of the year, a shoarthanded goal, to seal the 4-2 win for the Lakers.
Lyle Rocker took the loss for Cortland, dropping his record to 2-9-1, as he stopped 10 of the 13 shots he faced.
