Best & Worst NFL Week Three

Week Three has come and gone in the NFL and what a week it was. We saw a blowout in Miami that hasn't happened since 1966. the Chargers won a wild shootout in Minnesota (who couldn't really hang onto the football). New York still can't get its quarterback figured out yet, while over in Green Bay, the rookie is starting to find his legs under him at this level. Lots to digest but we are going to do our best here. Now for the best and worst of week three around the league.

Best: Miami Dolphins Offense
To say that this game was a beatdown would be a massive understatement. They won at home and in a big way, beating the Broncos 70-20. No that is not a typo that was the actual score from Miami Sunday afternoon. First time that a team has scored that many points in a game since 1966. Miami rang up 726 yards of total offense. The Dolphins had 326 rush yards on the day and five touchdowns on the ground. Can't say much more than that its a total destruction

Worst: Josh McDaniels Head Coach Las Vegas Raiders
Some of the decisions he's made at the end of games really have to make you sit there and think what the hell is this guy doing? Vegas fell to the Steelers 23-18 Sunday night and it was McDaniels call near the end of the game that cost them the game. It was 23-15 Pittsburgh with 2:22 left. Its 4th and 4. Instead of going for the touchdown close, the Raiders took the safe route and kicked a field goal. Sure it was successful cutting the Steelers lead to 23-18. But the Steelers pretty much killed the clock before punting and Jimmy G threw a pick to end the game. Had McDaniels gone for it instead of playing the safe route, this could have been a very different post and the Raiders could have a winning record. But alas they do not.

Best: Miles Garrett Defensive End Cleveland Browns
This should come as a no surprise to anybody that Miles Garrett is one of the best defensive players in all of football. He proved that again on Sunday as the Browns beat up on the Titans, walking away with a 27-3 win at home. Garett had five tackles, four of which were solos. but what stood out is that he had 3.5 sacks on the day, which was the most by any defensive player during the week. He's proving again that he can be, and still is, a terror to deal with.

Worst: Minnesota Vikings Ball Control
Even with Kirk Cousins putting up very impressive numbers, Minnesota still sits at 0-3. In a 28-24 loss to the Chargers, Minnesota had a good day through the air with Cousins throwing for 367 yards. Problem is he was picked off once and sacked four times. That pick couldn't have come at a worse time, getting picked off in the end zone in the final seconds. If the Vikings are going to get back into playoff contention at some point this season, they need to learn to hang onto the football.

Best: CJ Stroud Quarterback Houston Texans
CJ had himself a day on Sunday. It was in a dominating 37-17 Texans win over Jacksonville, which was quite the statement right there. Stroud was near perfect going 20 for 30 for 280 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Its even more impressive that he's played mistake free football over the first three games of his career, he hasn't thrown a pick yet this year, as of this writing. He's showing bigtime strides to his game that, at least early on, could be big showings for the rest of his career.

Worst: Sam Howell Quarterback Washington Commanders
It's tough going up against a team like the Bills, who seemed to have found themselves again after week one. Buffalo dominated Arizona from the get go, walking away with a 37-3 whitewashing of Washington. Sam Howell had some good vibes around him coming into this week, but that went away quicker than a hiccup on Sunday. to be fair, his line wasn't much help to him, allowing Howell to get hit 15 times and sacked 9 times. But Sam also did some of the bad all on his own as well. He threw no touchdowns and was picked off four times. yeah that was a bad day

Best & Worst NFL Week Two

Week Two around the NFL has come and gone and there's been some big stories coming out of the games that were. Injuries to star players keep piling up. Some big teams that were expected to be good, have fallen flat on there face. There are other teams that bounced back after tough opening weeks. Here's some of the best and worst from week two around the NFL.

Best: Mike Evans Wide Receiver Tampa Bay Buccaneers
It's a contract year and Mike Evans is looking for a new deal. He had himself a day in the Bucs 27-17 win over the Bears. He went off for six catches for 171 yards and a touchdown. He's starting to show that he's working well, and quickly doing so, with Baker Mayfield. At the pace Evans has set over the first two games, he's looking at his 10th 1,000 yard receiving season. He due to get paid at the end of the year and its going to be close to happening.

Worst: Zach Wilson Quarterback New York Jets
You knew it was bound to happen against a good team. Dallas put a whooping on the Jets, coming away with a 30-10 win. At the start of the day, things looked OK for Zach Wilson, till the wheels started coming off late in the 3rd quarter. Zach finished 17 of 27 for 170 yards and a touchdown, but he was also picked off three times. It didn't help that the O-Line couldn't stop Micha Parsons from creating Havoc in the backfield. Still some of Zach poor decisions in this game lead many to wonder, and prove what I've been saying for quite some time now, that he's really not ready to take that next step and truly lead this team as it's quarterback.

Best: Buffalo Bills Offense
After coming up short in a disappointing performance in the opener against the Jets, Buffalo bounced back in a big way in week two. Buffalo showed up in a big way in a 38-10 win over Vegas. Allen looked like himself going 31 of 37 for 274 yards and three touchdowns. Better still, was the fact that Allen wasn't having any turnovers, a fact that haunted him in the opening loss to New York. Complementing the pass game was a very effective run game, with James Cook getting 17 carries for 123 yards. They had balance in their attack and didn't turn the ball over. A vast improvement from week one.

Worst: Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals now sit at 0-2 following a 27-24 loss to the Ravens on Sunday. Some of that has to fall on Joe Burrow, who threw a horrible interception at the goal line late in the game, It should also be noted, Burrow is still dealing with his hamstring issue, you could tell it was bothering him late in the game. Still, the Bengals have proven before that they can dig themselves out of 0-2 holes. They have done it in the past couple of seasons. But the fact that they are getting off to that slow a start at the begging of years is starting to become a problem.

Best: D'Andre Swift Running Back Philadelphia Eagles
Looks like we might have found ourselves a solid running game in Philly. The Eagles powered themselves to a 2-0 record on the year, beating Minnesota 34-28. A lot of that had to do with the outstanding running of D'Andre Swift. Swift finished the day with 28 carries for 175 yards and a score. This is a very positive sign for Philly, who no doubt will be looking to balance their run attack all season> Swif t is proving he needs to get more touches as what he did was the tops in the league this week.

Worst: New England Running Game
New England is off to an 0-2 start, after falling 24-17 to Miami. Raheem Morstat of Miami outrushed New England all by himself, as the Patriots finished as a team with 88 yards on the ground. Most of that ground attack didn't show up till they were down two scores in the 4th quarter. hell the longest run of the day was an 18 yard rush by Mac Jones. That's a problem. There's no star power on this team. mac has been up and down in his play. If New England hopes to be anything close to decent, they need to be able to run the ball. And they need to get that figured out quickly.

Best: Puka Nacua Wide Receiver Los Angeles Rams
There had been some fear about the Rams passing attack without having Cooper Kupp in the attack. Los Angeles is still struggling out of the gates, falling to the 49ers last week 30-23. But the big plus for the Rams from this game has been rookie wide out Puka Nacua. He's quickly becoming a star in the making in this league. He's become Stafford's favorite target, catching 15 passes for 147 yards on Sunday. This coming after catching 10 passes for 119 yards in the opener against Seattle. Now most, including myself, are going to be intrigued to see what the Rams do with Puka when Kupp comes back

Worst: Jawaan Taylor Offensive Line Kansas City Chiefs
Yes the Chiefs are 2-0, following a 17-9 win over Jacksonville. But Jawaan Taylor really struggled in this game. The tackle was paid $80 million over four years from when he signed his deal, which is a good pay day for an NFL Lineman. But he was benched briefly on Sunday for getting flagged for four penalties. FOUR. That can't happen.

Playoffs, Baby, Playoffs.

There was a cause for celebration in Baltimore today, but not quite the way that was expected. For the 5th year in a row the Tampa Bay Rays will be play in the playoffs and have a sixth straight winning season. The big thing here is the fifth straight playoff spot being clinched. There's still a shot at the division title, but at least we know that the playoff spot has been clinched.

For as great as this is, it does leave a little to wonder.

Back in April and May, when the Rays were setting the world on fire, this seemed like a lock. Then things cooled off around and after the all star break. Tampa managed to find its stride. Hitting has come around with five guys over 20 home runs and Yandy Diaz hitting the cover off the ball for average. The jolt that was felt back in May, which was off the charts, is starting to come back around just a little here in Tampa again. Question is can they get that mojo all the way back?

Pitching has become more stable the last few months, even with the injury bug hitting near the end of August. I do feel good about the arms that are here right now and going. And I feel good about the rays going down the final two weeks of the season. Yes they have a playoff spot locked up, there WILL be October baseball by the Bay, But they are still within striking distance of a possible division title. I know I know, that sounds like a long shot, but they aren't out of it yet and that's a good thing. It allows for the bats to try and either heat up or stay hot and not go cold at the wrong time when the playoffs start.

This Rays team has only had two deep runs in its history 2-008 and 2020 that ended in World Series appearances. This is a golden chance for Tampa to really take hold of what has been a pretty special season and make it into something even truly more magical.

Best & Worst NFL Week One

Week One in the NFL is in the books and what a wild and wacky week it was. The Jets lose their new toy and somehow find a way to win a game. Green Bay is showing early now signs of stopping with their new toy under center. Miami outlasted Los Angeles in a track meet for the ages. Some teams got off to great starts, while others not so much. Lots to digest from the first week of the season. Here's some of the winners, and losers, from week one.

Best: Christian McCaffery Running Back San Francisco 49ers
McCaffery is coming into his first full year with the 49ers and looking to prove that he's still one of the elite backs in this league. he did that in week one as San Francisco rolled to a 30-7 win over the Steelers. It was a statement game for the 49ers and it showed that McCaffery was back ton his old self. He finished the day with 22 carries for 152 yards and a touchdown. He had himself a day and is off to a fantastic start. If the Niners want to have any hope of keeping pace as a top team in the West, they need performances like this on a regular basis.

Worst: New York Giants
Things were supposed to be better for the Giants right? Right? Well after week one against the Cowboys it didn't look that way. Dallas walked into MetLife Stadium and dominated from start to finish, walking away with a 40-0 win. Dallas was all over a pathetic Giants offense. Jones was sacked seven times, he thr3ew two picks and the Giants fumbled six times, losing four of them. There was not one single thing that the Giants could do right the entire day. It was one of the biggest displaying of laying an egg I've ever seen.

Best: Miami Passing Attack
Not going to lie, I had some question marks with Tua and how well he'd be able to throw the ball. Well that was spelled quickly. Miami pulled out a 36-34 shootout win over the Chargers in an outstanding ballgame. Tyreek Hill went off with eleven catches for 215 yards and a couple of touchdowns. Tua finished throwing for a league best 466 yards. That was the fourth highest passing yards in an opening game in league history. Sure there's still some holes with this Dolphins team. There's no running attack to really speak of, and the defense got lit up for 34 points against a pretty good Chargers team. But if the passing attack can continue to play close to this level most of the year, and stay healthy with Tua, they are going to be just fine.

Worst: Buffalo Passing Attack
The hell happened to Buffalo Monday night? The Bills lost 22-16 in overtime to the Jets in a game that was focused on the Rogers injury and Buffalo blowing the game. Josh Allen was off, at least by his standards. Yes he threw for 236 yards and set up the late tying filed goal. But he was sacked five times and got picked off three times. Josh Allen had set such a high bar for himself over the last number of seasons so to see him play the way he did on Monday night was quite surprising and below his standards. The pass game in general looked off. The line wasn't protecting as well as they usually do and he just look out of sorts.

Best: Jordan Love Quarterback Green Bay Packers
When you take over as the starting Quarterback in Green Bay, there's plenty of pressure there. Taking over for Aaron Rogers adds more to it. But Jordan Love passed his first test and with flying colors. He had to do it against division rival Chicago, and helped lead the Packers to a 38-20 win over the Bears. Love did exactly what he was supposed to do. He protected the football, didn't try to force plays and didn't try and be something he's not. He went 15 of 27 for 245 yards and three touchdowns. Of course there is room for improvement with Love, but this was a good first outing and helped Packers fans move on with this new era of Green Bay Football.

Worst: Bengals Offensive Line
There was a lot for Cleveland to come into this game fired up about. Chase had given them incentive with his elves comments and Burrow was hurt part of the preseason. So the onus fell in the Bengals offensive line to be able to protect Joe Burrow and open up rushing lanes for the Bengals vaunted ground game. Neither thing happened. The run game was AWOL and Burrow got hit ten times during the course of the game. Call it bad line play, call it bad play calling. Either way it was a bad day for the Bengals in a 24-3 loss to the Browns.

Best: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville had pulled the trigger on bringing Ridley in, hoping to make him either their number one weapon, or close to it. He showed on Sunday that he could be a number one receiver. Jacksonville walked away from the Colts with a 31-21 win and Ridley was a factor.  He had eight catches for 101 yards. He had eleven targets and eight catches. There was only one other Jags receiver that had more than five targets and that was Zay Jones with seven. It goes to show that Ridley is going to fit right in with this passing attack and could get back to top flight levels soon.

Worst: Injuries

Week one was a bad week on this front. The two biggest names to go down were Ravens Running Back JK Dobbins and Jets Quarterback Aaron Rogers. Oh but there's more. Colts RB Evan Hull, Steelers WR Diontae Johson and TE Pat Freiermuth, Browns OT Jack Conklin, Jaguars G Brandon Scherff, Vikings C Garrett Bradbury, Panthers CB Jaycee Horn, Ravens S Marcus Williams, Texans S Jalen Pitre, Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett, Packers RB Aaron Jones and Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers all went down with injuries. Yikes!

2023 NFL Season Preview

The time has come. Seventeen weeks. Thirty Two teams. Sixteen playoff spots are up for grabs all with the Vince Lombardi Trophy waiting at the end of the season. There's a lot to choose from and break down for this season so lets dive right into it. Here's what we got for the 2023 NFL Season.

Lots of changes have been made around the NFL going into this season. Lot of new faces in new places. Derek Carr (New Orleans), Andy Dalton (Carolina), Jimmy Garoppolo (Las Vegas), Baker Mayfield (Los Angeles Rams to Tampa Bay), Dalvin Cook (Jets), Ezekiel Elliott (New England), Melvin Gordon (Baltimore), David Montgomery (Detroit), Miles Sanders (Philadelphia to Carolina), Devin Singletary (Houston), DeAndre Hopkins (Tennessee), Allen Lazard (Jets), Jakobi Meyers (Las Vegas), JuJu Smith-Schuster (New England), Adam Thielen (Carolina) all are on the move.

Lets not waste any more time, here's now we see the 2023 season going.

NFC:
NFC East:
1. Philadelphia Eagles (12-5)*
2. Dallas Cowboys (11-6) (WC)*
3. New York Giants (9-8)
4. Washington Commanders (7-10)

Coming off the NFC title last year, the Eagles are looking to repeat and with Jalen Hurts playing as well as he did, the Eagles have a chance to build on it from a year ago. They might take a step back with a little less talent on the club, but they still good enough to be the class of this division. Then we got the Cowboys, who made big changes at running back with Zeke gone and Pollard now the feature back. Throw in Cooks playing with a healthy Gallup and Dallas has serious weapons. Add the improved defense with Stephon Gillmore, Dallas is gonna be really good. Now with the Giants, there's quite a bit of intrigue there. Jones and Barkley are looking to build off solid years last year. Now adding Waller in at tight end to go with Slayton and Shepard as targets in the pass game, it helps the Giants out just that much more. They got a good front four but the secondary leaves me wondering a little bit. Of Course, we got the Commanders rounding out this division. In a tough division such as this one, having a guy like Sam Howell, no disrespect, as your starting quarterback is going to make it very hard to be able to compete. Sure he got Robinson running the ball, and McLaurin to throw to. But there's not much to work with in Washington

NFC North:
1. Detroit Lions (11-6)*
2. Minnesota Vikings (10-7) (WC)*
3. Green Bay Packers (9-8)
4. Chicago Bears (7-10)

For the first time since 1993, the Lions will claim a division title. No, that isn't a typo, you are reading that correctly, Detroit has the horses to be able to claim the division this year. On Defense, they have a good one being led by Buggs and Huchinson up front. On the other side of the ball, Geoff has weapons to work with in the form of St Brown catching passes and solid running attack with Gibbs and Montgomery. This team is going to be good. Having won the division last year, this year is going to be a slight step backwards for the Vikings, but not by much. Kirk Cousins is going to have another solid year. He's got one of the best receivers in the game to throw to in Justin Jefferson. They got the firepower. The only thing that's going to hold the Vikings back from repeating what they did last year is that defense, which isn't quite as experienced or talented as it should be. Heading over to the Packers, this is the first time they haven't had either Farve or Rogers under center since 1991. And it feels weird picking against Green Bay to be a playoff team. They have an elite defense and  a good offensive line. There's still some weapons to work with on the offense, but really it all comes down to Jordan Love and if he's truly ready to become the man in Green Bay. Finally, there's the Bears bringing up the rear. Chicago flopped badly last year, to the tune of only three wins. They helped improve some of the weapons around Justin Fields, which will add a couple of wins to their total from last season. But the defense isn't very competative and will be holding the Bears back for some time.

NFC South:
1. Carolina Panthers (9-8)*
2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-9)
3. New Orleans Saints (7-10)
4. Atlanta Falcons (7-10)

Having not had a winning season since 2017 and not winning a division title since 2015, this is the year both change for the Panthers. Frank Reich has a new toy to play with under center in Bryce Young. He's got Thielen and Chark to throw to. They have Miles Sanders running the ball and a solid offensive line. There's also the potential there for this to be a top fifteen defense in the league this year. Carolina has some hope. There is hope, but its fading, around the Buccaneers this season. On offense, no Gage due to injury early in camp. Still have Evans and Godwin and a pretty good runner in Rachaad White. Baker is under center, which has me and some others worried, given his past track record of winning games in this league outside of one good year in Cleveland. From the linebackers back, the Bucs have the talent to be a top five defense, but its their front four that lack something. Could be an average year at best for Tampa. Then we move over to the Saints, who will have another year of taking steps back. No real faith in Carr leading this team, and they going to be without their best offensive player in Kamara at the start of the season due to suspension. They have Olave and Thomas in the pass game, which is going to be a big help. But there seems like there is going to be a regression on the defensive side of the football. Finally, we have the Falcons, who have one of the worse defensive units in the league. There is a little hope on offense with Landon, Hollis and Pitts, but there's questions under center. Desmond Ridder can only grow from here as a starter, but there isn't much to build off of right now.

NFC West:
1. San Francisco 49ers (12-5)*
2. Seattle Seahawks (11-6) (WC)*
3. Los Angeles Rams (9-8)
4. Arizona Cardinals (4-13)

If you want to go through the West, it has to go through the 49ers once again. They have a fantastic defense under Steve Wilks and when Nick Bosa is good to go, he's good to go. As for the offense, it doesn't matter if its Brock Purdy or somebody else, this offense is going to be very tough to handle. The NFC West crown goes through San Francisco once again. The talent is there to go on a deep run, just it depends on how the QB play holds up. Looking at the Seahawks, they are hoping for another big year from Geno Smith under center. he's got one of the best one two punches in the game to toss to in Lockett and Metcalf. Walker is going to be a solid back making the Seattle offense one of the potent in the league. The defense can hang with anybody, but where they fall just a bit short is they aren't quite on the level of San Fran. Then there's the Rams, who are hoping that Cooper Kupp can return to pre injury form. Him and Cam Akers running the ball may make them a threat but there still quite a few holes on this team that aren't going to overcome the two teams above them on this list here. To say that the Cardinals are going to have a bad year this year is going to be an understatement. Kyler Murray's last year in Arizona is going to be a long one and if he can make it out of this season healthy, then he's had a good year. There's not much in the way of weapons around him and the team even said they are going to tank.

AFC:
AFC East
1. Buffalo Bills (12-5)*
2. New York Jets (11-6)(WC)*
3. Miami Dolphins (10-7)
4. New England Patriots (7-10)

Another year, another East division title for the Bills. It's starting to sound like a broken record but its true. With a team powered by Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs. Sure Allen was dealing with injuries during the second half of last season, but this team is loaded on the offensive side of the football and they can overcome it for the time. They also have themselves a solid run game with James Cook taking carries. On the other side of the ball if they can stay healthy, then Buffalo should take the division. They are going to have a stiff challenge this year in the division from the Jets. Last year, New York managed to go 7-10 with one of the crappiest QB situations in the entire league. Now they have Aaron Rogers in the mix, who even at an average level this year (by his standards) will improve this team. With a lot of reloaded weapons on this team on offense, a healthy Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook running, and a great defense, New York should be back in the playoffs this year. Now you have the Dolphins, who have been taking strides in the right direction over the past few seasons. The health of Tua will always be a question. if he can stay healthy, with Tyreek Hill catching passes and Morstat running the ball, this offense has a shot to be solid. There's potential to have a good defense and keep Miami in the hunt with New York and Buffalo. Finally there's the Patriots, who end up bringing up the rear in a very tough division. If Mac Jones and the passing attack is average, they can keep themselves in the race for a wild card spot. With Ju-Ju now catching passes for him its a bit of an added boost. It all comes down to if they can play above their weight. Same thing going for the defense.

AFC North:
1. Cincinnati Bengals (11-6)*
2. Baltimore Ravens (11-6)(WC)*
3. Cleveland Browns (10-7)
4. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-8)

Even though they're dealing with a slightly sore starting QB at the beginning of the year, there's still very high hopes for the Bengals this season. Even with Joe Burrow coming off a slight calf strain he should be good early in the season. He got a great running game with Mixon behind him and great weapons to throw to in Higgins, Chase and Boyd. Its an offense that could be one of the most explosive ever. The only thing really holding Cincinnati back is that defense. There's a few question marks there, but they are more than good enough to get them a division title. Right behind them are the Ravens, who have Lamar Jackson locked for at least one m ore year. Baring injury at the quarterback this could be a great team. The added Odell Beckham to an already high powered offense. Him, Flowers and Andrews catching passes is going to be good. They have the talent on Defense to be a good unit but the pass rush leads a little something to be desired. Next we got the Browns, who are relying on what happens with Deshaun Watson. If he appears to be an even decent quarterback, then Cleveland has a chance. The talent around him is there. Cooper, Moore, Chubb. He's got the playmakers, he just has to get the ball to them to make the plays. Finally, we have the Steelers, who haven't finished below .500 since 2003. They managed to keep that going last year with TJ Watt missing games and Kenny Pickett in his rookie year. Now Watt is healthy and Pickett has more playing time at this level under his belt. Najee Harris should be back to form running the ball and the defense has skill to it. Pittsburgh just has the bad luck of the draw playing in one of the toughest divisions in football.

AFC South:
1. Jacksonville Jaguars (11-6)*
2. Tennessee Titans (7-10)
3. Indianapolis Colts (6-11)
4. Houston Texans (4-13)

After struggling the four years prior, last year was a revival of sorts for the Jaguars, who made the playoffs and won the division. Tevor Lawrence has really started hitting his stride the last couple of seasons in Jacksonville. Plus getting rid of Urban Meyer was a huge help as well. But Lawrence has plenty of weapons to throw to in the pass game. He's got Ridley, Kirk and Jones running routes, making his life easier. And that defense is going to be good, like really good. They are going to be the only winning team in this division. The Titans are going to be the first one to bring up the losing rear. Maybe Tennessee finishing around .500 could be possible. it depends on if they can give Tannehill help. Henry and Hopkins are both expected to have big years, which will be a big help. It all depends on Tannehill and his ball control. That Titans defense looks average at best. As for the Colts, it depends on Anthony Richardson. He's going to have growing pains, but he's going to have help with Pitman making plays for him. Whats going to end up holding Indy back is going to be its inconsistency on the defensive side of the football. Bringing up the rear in this division is going to be the Texans, who will be lucky if they win four games this season. C.J Stroud is going to go through a big learning curve when he gets going at this level. Him and Will Anderson are going to have this year to prove that they could be cornerstones to really be able to build around. Even with the potential there, Houston still has one of the worst rosters in the league and will have another top five pick heading their way.

AFC West:
1. Kansas City Chiefs (12-5)*
2. Los Angeles Chargers (11-6)(WC)*
3. Denver Broncos (8-9)
4. Las Vegas Raiders (5-12)

The Chiefs are the defending world champions. They are going to prove it again this year why they are the best team in the league. Mahomes and Kelce are the best at their positions and are going to have an improved backfield with Pacheco. They are going to have some weapons on that side of the ball get better. As will that young defense which is a scary thought. The only team that will really be challenging KC for the crown is going to be the Chargers, and why not. Herbert is expected to have another big year under center and he's got a ton of weapons and firepower to work with. Ekler behind him in the backfield and Allen and Williams to be able to throw to. Yikes that's going to be tough to defend against. The defense still needs some slight tweeks, but they are going to be good enough to make the playoffs. Now is where the drop of comes in from the West, starting with the Broncos. Five wins last year isn't good, and Russel Wilson had a bad year his first year in Denver. Now with Sean Petyon there, it will hopefully help get the team back on track and going in the right direction. Finally we got the Raiders, who are going to be a bad team. Carr is gone, but his replacement in Jimmy Garoppolo can't seem to stay healthy for any prolonged length of time. He got a good runner in Josh Jacobs and one of the best wide outs in Devante Adams catching passes but they could somehow get really luck and maybe hit the seven win mark
